January 2010 Dinner Meeting

Welcome back!  We have new and exciting programs planned for you this New Year.  Please come and join us at the Genesee Grand Hotel 6pm-9pm Wednesday, January 13th, 2010 for our monthly meeting.

Note:  The hotel has raised the cost of the dinner to $31.00 per person.  We will discuss whether we want to stay there and pay that amount or ask for suggestions of meeting places to move to.

Our annual Christmas party will be on our regular meeting night December 9th, 2009 in the Erie Mansion Bed & Breakfast, 39 W. Genesee St, Clyde, NY 14433.  It is a 45 room mansion sized home that was purchased by Mark Wright a long time member is of our club.  He both lives and rents out this State of New York recognized Bed and Breakfast.

All are invited to attend our annual holiday party.  It is likely to the best we have ever had.

The cost for the evening is Twenty (20) Dollars.  This includes choice of Prime Rib, Ham or Chicken.  

All you need to do is confirm with Mark at the Mansion @ 315-406-1999 in Clyde NY. 

There are four (4) Bedroom Suites set aside for our group for the evening.  The cost is $100.00 per couple for the night.  First come, first serve.  Make arrangements with Mark when you call to confirm your attendance.

Think Christmas Now.

 A great opportunity has been presented to us!!

 Mark Wright, a long time member has offered to host our annual Christmas party in his Erie Mansion Bed & Breakfast, 39 W. Genesee St, Clyde, NY 14433.  It is a 45 room home that he purchased and currently both lives and rents out as a State recognized Bed and Breakfast.

It is available to us at no cost on our regular meeting night December 9th, 2009.  All we have to do is confirm that we we like to have our holiday party there in Clyde NY. 

We are investigating  the availability of a small bus or limo to carry us to and from the mansion and will make arrangements for catering and come up with a conservative cost for the evening with or without a ride included.

I would like to thank Hanie Eng for hosting the summer meeting again at her home for the fifth year and our speakers  - Pat McDonald, Sandy Spencer CPA and Eschew Young.

The event was well attended, served great food cook by our own Gary Floss and included great speakers and great topics that were well done and timely in message.

My favorite topic was regarding the home buyers incentive, the federal tax refund for purchasing a home this year, presented by Hanie’s accountant, Sandy Spencer CPA.  She was very knowledgeable well prepared and well spoken.  Hanie has been keeping her a secret.  I am sure we will have her speak again in the near future.
